You are what you eat. Literally.
Everyone is busy, it's hard to make time for food. We've become increasingly reliant on processed foods since the beginning of TV dinners in the 1950s. Back then, it was a sign of prosperity and progress. But now, processed foods, especially ultra-processed, are nearly devoid of nutrition and full of toxins. Ultra processed foods are engineered for profit and shelf life.
Ultraproccesed foods are owned by corporations that do not care about you, your family or your health. Get their hands off your body and reclaim your kitchen.
Taking care of your body with quality food saves health care dollars in the long run. We can't rely entirely on the weakened medical and health insurance systems. Taking back your food is empowering. It will decrease your dependance on broken systems.
Groceries are expensive, and certainly so are restaurants. Time is limited. We need simple, easy recipes.
Start small. Small changes matter.
